Seravic tribes inhabited the Velara River Valley. Archaeological evidence indicates advanced metallurgy and agriculture from 800 BCE.
King Vladislav I unified the tribes forming the Kingdom of Seravakia. Golden age included Castle Dravomir (1156) and University of Valornia (1284).
After King Mikhail III died heirless, Seravakia split into three duchies. Plague of 1389 reduced population by ~40%.
Seravakia fell under Ottoman influence. Siege of Valornia (1547) lasted 18 months. Partial autonomy granted 1612.
Duke Aleksandr IV reunified the duchies. Treaty of Dravomir (1691) recognized independence.
Industrialization, railways, African colonies. WWI caused economic collapse and revolution.
Civil war among monarchists, communists, and liberals. Republic established 1923.
Neutrality failed; invaded by Nazi Germany 1941. Resistance in Karpathos Mountains liberated country 1944.
1947 constitution formalized the parliamentary republic. EU membership 2007. Leader in renewable energy & tech innovation.

Northern Highlands: Karpathos Mountains (Mount Seravak, 2,847m), mineral-rich forests.
Central Valley: Velara River Valley, agricultural hub producing wheat, grapes, sunflowers.
Southern Lowlands: Mediterranean climate, tourism, olive groves.
Eastern Plateau: Semi-arid, wind and solar farms.
Climate: Continental in north/center; Mediterranean in south. Cold winters, warm summers.
