A Letter to Dishiii

Dear Dishiii,

I don't think I say this enough, but you're one of the best things that's ever happened to me. Not just because you're an incredible friend though you absolutely are—but because you make life feel lighter, brighter, and infinitely more fun just by existing in it.

You have this way of showing up for people that feels effortless, even though I know it's not. You listen when someone needs to talk. You celebrate the small wins like they're Olympic gold medals. You make people feel seen, valued. That's just rare. That's special. That's you.

I love how perfectly imperfect our friendship is. We can go from deep, philosophical conversations at 12 AM to absolutely unhinged chaos within the same five minutes. We have inside jokes that make zero sense to anyone else. We can sit in comfortable silence or talk for hours about nothing and everything all at once.

You've been there through my best days and my worst ones. You've hyped me up when I needed confidence and called me out when I needed a reality check. You've made me laugh until my stomach hurt and been the shoulder I needed when things felt heavy. You've never made me feel like I was too much or not enough—just exactly right as I am.

So on your birthday, I want you to know how deeply grateful I am for you. For your kindness, your humor, your loyalty, your authenticity. For being the kind of friend people write about in books and hope to find in real life. For being you, unapologetically and beautifully.

I hope this year brings you everything you deserve and more. I hope you laugh until you cry, achieve things that make you proud, take risks that excite you, and find moments of peace that ground you.
